01What changes in Perth
The WA Stormwater Management Manual identifies washing buildings and paved surfaces as potential sources of stormwater pollution. It recommends a waste-management hierarchy, avoiding work in wet weather or when rain is imminent, and selecting containment, filtration, infiltration or approved sewer disposal according to what the wastewater contains. The manual specifically warns that directing cleaning-compound wastewater to landscaped areas may be unsuitable where groundwater contamination is likely, including sandy soils on the Swan Coastal Plain.
That is a real Perth distinction, not decorative location copy. Joondalup, Wanneroo, Armadale and Rockingham also span a long metropolitan footprint, so northern and southern booking zones may be more honest than one universal arrival promise. The campaign should ask about coating condition and nearby drains before showing a method-led offer.
