01What changes in Brisbane
Logan City Council’s current guidance for mobile cleaning and trade businesses says polluted wastewater must not enter stormwater drains, roadside gutters or waterways. It recommends identifying runoff controls such as portable bunds, collecting wastewater and distinguishing water containing only soil or organic matter from wastewater containing oils or chemicals, which requires a different disposal route.
That is directly relevant to campaigns serving Brisbane, Logan, Redlands, Moreton Bay and Ipswich: a photo of green growth is not enough to promise a cleaning method or disposal plan.
The form should identify down-slope drains, gardens, tanks, painted surfaces and chemical sensitivity, while service-area copy should match the contractor’s actual travel and wet-weather rescheduling policy. Roof work and suspected asbestos sit outside a generic exterior-wash promise.
