01What changes in Hobart
CBOS tells Tasmanian consumers to check both the practitioner and contractor licence and says the contractor must provide a record of electrical work. For work beyond basic repair or like-for-like replacement, the contractor provides a Certificate of Electrical Compliance to TechSafe, which may inspect the work.
Current CBOS guidance also describes notifiable electrical work and the timeframe for providing the CEC after energising. A Hobart campaign can set those expectations while keeping Glenorchy, Clarence, Kingborough and Brighton aligned with actual service capacity.
