ACT Policing says collisions must be reported within 24 hours and explains when police attend, including injuries, danger or vehicles blocking the roadway. Where a tow is needed but the vehicles do not block the road, parties may arrange their own chosen operator. ACT Policing can arrange a tow from its roster where the owner or driver cannot nominate a firm, is absent or is injured.
This makes customer choice and police dispatch separate campaign paths. Belconnen, Gungahlin, Tuggeranong and Woden Valley can be targeted where the operator genuinely covers them, but an ad click does not override police control of an unsafe scene. The form should ask whether the vehicle has already been moved and whether a collision report number exists without delaying required reporting.
Vehicle mass and licence class affect which truck and driver may be used; underground height, seized wheels and collision damage affect recovery. Ads should not claim roster membership without current evidence and should identify price, destination, storage and second-tow terms. Response time remains subject to live availability, traffic and emergency directions.
