01Local context
Western Australian Consumer Protection’s current tenant guide says a rental should be returned in a similar condition to the start of the tenancy, taking fair wear and tear into account. It also describes a final property inspection and report, with the tenant given a reasonable opportunity to attend, and says the property condition report should be used in disputes about cleaning or damage.
A Perth campaign can therefore invite customers to supply their report and agent checklist, but it should not decide liability or promise that one package meets every property’s requirements.
Joondalup, Wanneroo, Canning and Rockingham can involve different travel time, dwelling styles and appointment economics. Advertised coverage, minimum bookings and travel charges must reflect the actual operation. For a recurring clean, the conversion page should explain which rooms and tasks are standard, which items are rotational or optional, how access is handled and how customers report a missed task.
02Campaign and claim checks
For a vacant property, condition, utilities, key collection and inspection date are more useful than a generic bedroom-only price. Australian Consumer Law requires due care and skill and fitness for a purpose the customer made known.
Workplace guidance also supports safer chemical substitution, labels, safety data sheets, ventilation and protective equipment. A customer request to mix products or treat an unknown contaminant should never override that safety assessment.
